FAQs for Individual Customers
There are two ways of doing business with Biblioso as a customer: as an individual person or as a corporate entity. Individuals typically have fewer projects than companies do, but the number of projects is not necessarily the ultimate criteria. For example, a corporate account may decide to run only a few projects through Biblioso. Our customer account types are not associated with volume programs. The frequently asked questions in this section specifically discuss topics concerning individual customers. For more information about corporate accounts, see the section FAQs for Corporate Customers.
For Individual Customers:

When deciding whether an individual customer account is right for you, consider if you personally control all the projects serviced with Biblioso. If this is the case, and if you have no in-house resources that you might want to use, then choose an individual customer account. Individual customer accounts enjoy full access to Biblioso services.

The individual customer account is the best choice when:
  • You have a single documentation project, where you need additional services to get the job done professionally and on time.
  • You have more than a single documentation project, but you manage all your projects yourself.
  • You do not need to manage additional accounts for in-house resources through the Biblioso Directory.
  • You are working with Biblioso as a service contributor and want to add Biblioso resources to your service offerings. Service contributors can assume the role of a customer. It is not required to create a separate account.
Biblioso customers must agree to our terms and conditions and must sign an NDA agreement to ensure that no hostile actions are conducted against Biblioso and its service contributors, customers, and other visitors and users of the Biblioso Portal, including pouching of resources, launching attacks against our Web site, or reverse engineering the features of the Biblioso Portal.
As an individual customer, you can choose from all of Biblioso’s services and service packages to best match your specific project and budget requirements. Biblioso provides volume discounts starting at 1,000 pages per year. Documentation professionals work on your projects according to your specifications and project needs.

All of the project and document management services of Biblioso are available to individual customers. You can participate in Biblioso projects as the project sponsor. The project sponsor has the ultimate authority over all formatting and style conventions and other content-related issues. As an individual customer, you can also assume the role of an individual contributor in your own projects.
Customers communicate with Biblioso through phone or e-mail. We prefer e-mail over telephone, if possible.

As part of our quality management processes, you have access to an account manager. The account manager is your personal Biblioso contact to discuss administrative issues. You also will be assigned a preferred project manager to manage your projects. The project manager is the primary contact for all project-related issues. You also have access to our technical support group through e-mail to discuss technical issues and ask questions.

If you have any issues that your account manager, your project manager, and the technical support group are unable to handle, you can directly contact Biblioso management through e-mail. Click on Contact Us for contact information.
