Privacy Policy

Biblioso understands the importance of privacy and strives to protect it. When you use the Biblioso Portal, the servers may gather personal information to best serve you. This Privacy disclosure and policy document covers the types of information collected and the security measures taken to protect it.
Collecting Data and Personal Information
Biblioso collects two types of information in the course of providing you services: personally identifying information and non-personally identifying data.

Your browser makes available information such as your IP address, domain, browser type, browser version, language, referring Web address, and the date and time you access our site. We collect this information to help develop and improve the content of our site, to best provide the layout and content for each user, and gather statistics. This information does not personally identify you and is gathered by Web servers on the Internet, not just ours.

When you use the Web site, our servers may collect information about your visit such as pages you view and links you click.

Registering for an account at Biblioso requires providing us with personal information. There are two account levels: limited and not limited. To register for a basic, limited account, you must provide at least a name, email address, and secure password. Biblioso uses that information to provide you access. Sometimes, you may be required to add additional information in your profile.

If you choose to sign up for additional features or services, such as the Biblioso Directory, you may be required to provide additional information such as company name, address, phone number, zip code, and secondary e-mail address. This information may be used in conjunction with existing information to provide services.

Information Use

Biblioso collects and uses the information gathered to provide you with services. This may include sharing information on your account with all our services. Biblioso will not sell, rent, or lease customer information to third parties or non-affiliated companies unless you give your consent.

Biblioso uses information you give to communicate with you. This may include technical communication such as welcome letters, reminders, security information, and service issues. From time to time, you may receive surveys, announcements, and promotional information to let you know of new or updated service offerings.

When necessary, Biblioso may use the services of other companies for customer support, mailings, analysis, or consulting. The companies will have only enough information to do the task agreed upon. They will be required to maintain confidentiality.

Biblioso or its agents and affiliates may keep and operate facilities in the United States and other countries. Biblioso may store and process personal information in any of its facilities. By using our site, you consent to such transfer outside your own country as may be necessary to provide you services

If required by law, Biblioso may disclose or grant access to your personal information. Biblioso may do so to comply with legal requirements, such as a court order or subpoena and to protect and defend its property and rights.

As needed, Biblioso may use customer information for new uses that it did not anticipate or disclose. These changes will be posted to the privacy policy so that you are aware of them. You may check the privacy policy periodically to see if there are changes to the use policy.

Updating Information
The Web site includes tools and methods for correcting and updating your personal information.
Information Security
Biblioso is dedicated to securing your information against unauthorized access or use. Only employees that need to know any personal information to provide you services have access to it. Our servers use industry-standard encryption technologies to transfer and receive data. Our facilities have appropriate security measures to protect from unauthorized access and use.
Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a Web server stores on a client computer that identifies your browser session. We use cookies to help log in to your account, track access as you use our services, and for other uses.

When you first visit Biblioso, the Web server sends a cookie to your computer that identifies your browser. The identifying cookie stores your information so that you do not have to sign in when you move between pages on our site. You have the option to decline and accept cookies from our site. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you do not accept cookies from our site, some features and services may not work.

Changes
When required, Biblioso may change and update this privacy policy . Although most changes should not be extensive, some changes may be made as Biblioso expands or alters its services. The changes will be posted to the privacy policy as they are adopted. Please review the policy periodically to be informed about changes.
